Descriptions of Holiday Gift Fair Organizations

The Eric Johnson House is an HIV/AIDS crisis intervention facility in Morristown .
A donation to Eric Johnson House will help provide formerly homeless HIV/AID residents with housing and supportive services.  Come hear how MUF has worked with Eric Johnson House to change our community a life at a time.  Those who make minimum donations of $20 will receive a gift in return.

Green Earth Ministry

GO GREEN THIS HOLIDAY SEASON...If you care about our Earth but need to buy "stuff" for holiday gifts, visit Green Earth Ministry's table for stainless steel water bottles, tire gauges, shake flashlights, high-efficiency LED holiday lights, wildflower seeds, and more. Also find out about environmental nonprofit organizations for on-line donating.

Grupo Cajola ,
Grupo Cajolá, a community-based group in Morristown and in Guatemala , is excited to be offering three ways to help the community help itself out of poverty. Our women’s weaving group will be introducing their first “fair trade” products (fair trade because the women are the owners of their business) for the US market -- hand-woven and hand-embroidered kitchen towels and cosmetics bags. Grupo Cajolá will also be accepting donations towards our Egg Farm (also owned by a women’s group) and towards our Scholarship Program.

Habitat for Humanity – The Senior High Youth Group will offer Holiday Chocolates and Donation Certificates in your name for the “Habitat Holiday Gift of Shelter.” Your purchase of Fair Trade chocolates or packages of hot chocolate with mugs, or poinsettias, will support the Senior High Youth Group’s Habitat project .

Interfaith Council for Homeless Families (ICHF)
ICHF Council for Homeless Families was created in 1989, in response to the growing number of homeless families in Morris County, New Jersey. A network of volunteers was formed from local congregations to provide emergency shelter, meals, and support services to homeless families, while professionals provide ongoing case management. ICHF will be selling the famous house pins that support causes that assist families in need of housing.

Amani Children’s Home
Amani Children’s Home is dedicated to the protection of Tanzania’s most vulnerable population: street-children and AIDS orphans. It is estimated that there are 2.5 million orphaned children in Tanzania.
Since its founding by Tanzanians in 2001, Amani has rescued hundreds of children from the perils of life on the streets, where they face a high risk of HIV transmission, malnutrition, and abuse.
Amani, which means “peace” in Swahili, provides healthy food, education, counseling and medical care for every child who turns to us for help.
