About the event

Looking for your next great read? Join us for a cozy Book Exchange on February 21, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship!

Tickets: FREE

How it works:

Bring up to 20 books in good, swappable condition and leave with up to the same number of new-to-you books to enjoy.

We’ll have a hot cocoa and coffee bar plus comfy spaces set up throughout the Fellowship where you can sit, relax, and dive into your finds.

Whether you’re clearing space on your shelves or hunting for hidden gems, this is the perfect way to share stories and spend a winter afternoon. We’d love to see you there!

We are excited to be joined by some wonderful vendors for this Community Book Swap. Shop small and browse bookish gifts while you peruse the book selection.

Stop by and say hello to:

  • Literacy Volunteers of Morris County

  • The Sassy Gay Store

  • Bookish Gifts 446

  • Wicked Flicker Candle Co.

  • The Moss Society

  • Mystic Moon Sticker

  • Breakthrough Bakery

We will also be selling wooden book page holders handmade by our own Jason Salisbury to support the Mortgage Prevention Fund.

We will be joined by The Moss Society, who will be hosting a fun workshop from 11-1 right on the stage of Chu Hall. (click for more information)

Join The Moss Society for a special Moss & Mingle pop up during the book swap event. Stop by to explore nature inspired crafts and create something meaningful to take home.

Guests can participate in a mini Moss & Mingle experience by choosing one of three hands on projects. Create a delicate botanical bookmark using real pressed flowers and foliage, perfect for marking your next favorite read. Or create a 4” wooden hexagon magnet using preserved moss and botanical flowers. Your third option is a moss and flower design inside a 5x7 gold picture frame.

All materials are provided for these projects. This relaxed, come and go style workshop is designed for all ages and skill levels. Whether you stay for a few minutes or linger longer, you’ll leave with a handmade piece that blends creativity, nature, and intention.

Please note tickets for this workshop must be purchased directly through The Moss Society
