CASA's mission is to be a strong voice for the best interests of vulnerable children who have been removed from their homes or are under court supervision due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. They recruit, train, and supervise community volunteers to be advocates, mentors, and champions for each child on his or her journey to a safe, permanent, and nurturing home.

CCPT’s mission is to enhance people's lives through therapeutic visits with caring volunteers and their pets. Pet therapy uses the human-animal bond to support emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Certified therapy animals and their handlers provide comfort and connection in settings where people need it most. Pets provide a non-judgmental presence, reduce anxiety, improve mood, lower blood pressure, and enhance motivation for physical or emotional well-being. Sometimes, the simplest connection makes the biggest difference!

Days for Girls is a global non-profit whose mission is to give access to sustainable, washable period kits to menstruators everywhere. MUUF supports this effort with other groups in NJ to produce these kits. A kit costs about $10 to make and lasts about 3 years. This allows women and girls to stay in school and participate in everyday life, reduces stigma, as well as, supporting health and education. Our group meets monthly to trace, cut, pin, sew and assemble. There is a job for everyone.

Family Promise of Morris County’s mission is to mobilize community resources and people to end the crisis of homelessness and housing instability faced by families and individuals by providing a continuum of services leading to independence. They believe that housing is a human right – that every person deserves a safe space to call home.

GAAMC is a not-for-profit volunteer-run organization that provides social, educational, and outreach programs. GAAMC also offers opportunities for individuals to become politically active on issues related to the GLBTI community. Our intent is to maintain a positive, healthy, respectful and supportive environment in a safe space.

Green Earth Ministry (GEM) is the Fellowship’s environmental committee. Engage with us for environmental advocacy campaigns and educational programs. Help us connect with opportunities to advance climate justice in northern New Jersey. All are welcome to attend our monthly meetings, which are usually held on Zoom. Invite your friends!

The Network's Mission is to: improve the health & well-being of Morris County residents in need by providing access to food, nutrition education & related resources; provide hands-on opportunities for neighbors to help neighbors; educate and engage the public about the issues of food insecurity in our area; and leverage strategic partnerships to innovatively address the root causes and impact of food insecurity.

The League is a political grassroots network and membership organization that believes the freedom to vote is a nonpartisan issue. For more than a century, we’ve worked to empower voters and defend democracy. As a women-led organization, we encourage everyone to take part in our democracy.

Literacy Volunteers of Morris County provides free instruction to adults seeking to improve their ability to read, write or speak English fluently. Each year our volunteer tutors help hundreds of English language learners become more confident and engaged employees, parents, consumers, and citizens.

Mutual Morris is a mutual aid organization that builds relationships of people helping each other directly according to what we actually need, instead of waiting for governments, corporations, or industrialized non-profits to decide how we need to be helped. We recognize that the systems are the problem, not the individuals who are being left behind under these systems.

New Jersey Together is a growing broad-based, multi-faith coalition in New Jersey. We challenge ordinary people in our state to identify problems facing their neighborhoods and city, connect individuals and organizations to multiply their power, and mobilize people to bring about creative and effective change. We are multi-faith, multi-issue, and strictly non-partisan. We partner with religious congregations, non-profits, neighborhood organizations, and parent groups to develop leaders, strengthen communities, & seek justice.

Our mission is to support grassroots community organizations in Nicaragua as they work to overcome a history of poverty, violence against women and environmental destruction. Helping abused and abandoned youths overcome drug addiction and physical and sexual abuse, enabling them to live healthy, productive lives. Helping girls and women in their struggles against domestic violence and to achieve equal rights. Helping rural communities develop sustainable agriculture and combat the effects of deforestation, soil degradation and climate change. Providing material aid supplies to Nicaraguan community organizations donated by our community of supporters in the United States.

Refugee Assistance Morris Partners (RAMP) is a volunteer organization which seeks to assist vetted and documented refugee families and individuals threatened by war or violence to transition to productive lives of dignity, safety, and hope in Morris County, New Jersey.

UU FaithAction NJ coordinates grassroots social justice advocacy with our UU member congregations and individual UUs and allies across the state of New Jersey. We work to establish a just and compassionate public policy that is consistent with Unitarian Universalist principles and purposes. UU FaithAction NJ has 4 Task Forces: Environmental Justice, Immigration Justice, Reproductive Justice and Criminal Justice Reform.

We know that religious spaces haven’t always been welcoming places for all people, especially when it comes to gender and sexuality. Being welcoming means striving for radical inclusion, and creating spaces that honor every part of our identities. Morristown UU has been recognized as a Welcoming Congregation or over 25 years. We have the opportunity and the imperative now to renew our commitment through the most recent UUA Welcoming Congregation program.

UUSC advances human rights and social justice around the world, partnering with those who confront unjust power structures and mobilizing to challenge oppressive policies. Our work is grounded in the belief that all people have inherent worth and dignity.
