  • A: Literally anyone! Whether you are a lifelong Unitarian Universalist (UU), from a different religious background, have no religious experience at all, or are simply a curious person seeking answers to life's "Big Questions," you have a place here. We warmly welcome justice seekers, retirees, children, young adults, single folks, and both traditional and nontraditional families.

  • A: Our environment is casual and comfortable. Please wear whatever makes you feel at ease.

  • A: The Main Lot is located east of the building, featuring accessible parking spaces. The West Lot offers additional ADA-accessible parking on the west side of the building.

  • A: You can enter through either the Main Mansion Entrance, which leads directly into the Great Hall, or the Gateways Entrance, which takes you into the Urhane Welcome Gallery. The Gateways Entrance features a push-button automatic door for easy access.

  • A: The Gateways Center features single-person, non-gendered bathrooms. We also have two family bathrooms equipped with changing tables.

  • A: When you walk into the Great Hall, you'll find our greeters at the Check-In table. They will welcome you and invite you to share your information so we can keep you connected with all our wonderful community programs.

  • A: Our main service runs from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Meeting Room. If you need to step out, a livestream of the service is broadcast into the nursery, family room, and Chu Hall.

     

    A typical service includes:

     

    • The lighting of our Chalice

    • Communal singing from our UU Hymnal

    • Shared rituals to aid our spiritual journeys

    • The sharing of Milestones and Passages

    • Stories for all ages and inspired sermons

  • A: Yes! Childcare is available from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The room is safely staffed by background-checked volunteers.

  • A: Absolutely! From 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, join us in the Chu Family Hall for Social (Coffee) Hour. Enjoy fair trade, locally roasted coffee and donated snacks while socializing. You can also explore tables with information about our Fellowship Groups or chat with our Social Justice Team about their ongoing initiatives.

  • A: Held on the first Sunday of every month, Community Sundays bring our multi-generational community together for shared meals and fun activities like Game Days, service projects, talent shows, and more.

  • A: Yes, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we offer programs for both kids and adults:

    Weekly Age Based Faith Formation Class

    Science & Spirituality Discussion Group

    We discuss the spirituality of science and the science of spirituality…and everything in between.
