Embark on a transformative journey of learning and connection at the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship! Our enriching Faith Formation program is designed for all ages. Offering classes for children from 3-year-olds through 8th grade, as well as an Adult Small Discussion Group, the program fosters a welcoming space for exploration, growth, and shared values. Classes begin on Sundays after our inspiring worship service, starting September 20th.

Fellowship Faith Formation is more than just a place to learn about religion. It is a vibrant community where individuals of all ages can explore their values, ask questions without judgment, and grow alongside others who share a commitment to compassion, justice, and making the world a better place. We believe that fostering a sense of wonder and curiosity is essential for spiritual growth, and we provide a safe and supportive environment where children and youth can develop their own unique beliefs. Our adult programs offer opportunities for lifelong learning and connection, encouraging open dialogue about life's big questions.

This year, we will take part in a UUA pilot program, exploring a brand-new curriculum: A Woven Faith. Like in past years, this theme-based, whole-church series centers around a monthly theme, sowing the seeds during worship and delving deeper during our Faith Formation opportunities.

A Woven Faith was created to honor our past while incorporating our present and future expressions of faith. It integrates our most current associational learning around anti-oppression practices, supporting the cultivation of internal and interpersonal social-emotional skills essential for sustainable justice work.

Central to A Woven Faith is the principle that the congregation is the curriculum—meaning our entire environment (accessibility, worship, fellowship, RE classes, leadership development, caring ministries, and justice work) informs the Unitarian Universalism we learn and absorb. By equipping lay leaders and religious professionals alike to weave together a shared message, Woven Faith supports congregational shared ministry and provides intentional avenues to weave our UU values into every aspect of our community life.
