Advocate for funding of US Forest Service!

Congress has started to advance spending bills that authorize funding of specific departments, agencies, and programs in Fiscal Year 2027. In recent months, the administration has proposed cuts to U.S. Forest Service funding and programs. Now, Congress is reviewing funding for the Forest Service.

This summer is expected to be unusually hot and dry, increasing the risk of wildfires--not a good time to cut funding to the Forest Service! Please consider contacting your Representative and Senators and asking them to vote for robust funding for the Forest Service during the appropriations process.
