A day camp that puts love at the center
About the Camp
Join us at the Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship for a joyful, values-based summer experience designed for children entering grades 1–5. Our program creates a safe, inclusive space where children build community and grow through play, creativity, and reflection. They wil explore identity, history, and social justice through a Unitarian Universalist lens.
The Program Experience Each day is designed to balance structure with the freedom to explore. Our curriculum includes:
-
Themed Discussions: Activities grounded in UU values like respect, equity, justice, and compassion.
-
Creative Arts: Daily arts and crafts projects.
-
Active Play: Games, group challenges, and outdoor nature time on our Fellowship grounds.
-
Daily Mindfulness: Practices such as breathing exercises and reflection circles to support self-discovery and confidence.
-
Social Justice: Age-appropriate activities that encourage children to think about fairness and making a positive difference in the world.
Space for Every Child Inclusivity is at the heart of our camp. We are proud to be:
-
LGBTQ+ Affirming: A welcoming space for all families and identities.
-
Neurodivergent Friendly: We offer quiet areas, visual schedules, and sensory-friendly spaces.
-
Accessible: We offer tiered pricing and financial assistance to ensure the camp is economically accessible to all.
