Junior Child Care Helper Training Session

This mandatory, brief training session is for all children aged 5-18 who plan to participate in the new Junior Child Care Helper Program.

Led by our Director of Lifetime Religious Education, Nick Wallwork, this engaging session will ensure every young helper feels confident and prepared for their role in the Child Care room.

What the Kids Will Learn:

• Practical Assistance: Simple, effective ways to help adult volunteers (e.g., setting up crafts, organizing materials, and assisting during activities).

• Key Responsibilities: Understanding their role in engagement, positive supervision, and safety.

• Modeling Kindness: How to set a great example for younger children by demonstrating patience and inclusive play.

• Community Nurturing: Skills to warmly welcome and nurture all children in our community.

Attendance is required to join the program. Please ensure your child attends if they wish to volunteer!
