Make the Magic Happen at Trunk or Treat 2026—and Bring a Friend Along!

It’s time to dust off your Halloween costumes, spark your creativity, and get ready for one of our favorite community traditions! The Morristown Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is hosting our annual Trunk or Treat on Sunday, November 1st, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the Gateways Parking Lot.

This year, we’re issuing a special challenge to all MUUF members: bring at least one friend, neighbor, or family member who has never experienced a MUUF event before!

Trunk or Treat is a free, family-friendly celebration open to the entire community. It’s full of creatively decorated car trunks, delicious candy, festive games, face painting, a selfie station, and costume voting for the Best Decorated Trunk. Because it's such a welcoming, joy-filled afternoon, it’s the absolute best way to introduce someone new to our fellowship!

Here is How You Can Get Involved:

• Host & Decorate a Trunk: Park your car, unleash your imagination on your trunk, and hand out treats to all the trunk-or-treaters.

• Run a Fun Game Station: Keep the kids smiling by running an activity like Feed the Monster, Potion Making, Fortune Telling, Beanboozled, or Mummy Wrap.

• Help Out with Activities or Crew: lend a hand at the face painting table, help with setup and cleanup, or tally up trunk votes.

• Take the "Plus One" Challenge: Share the event details, extend an invitation, and bring a guest along for the fun!

Whether you’re planning to host an elaborate trunk, run a game, or just stroll through in costume with your friends, we want to see you there.
