MUUF Outings to the Arts - Updated and New Event!
Barbara Stasiak reports, “Our Coro d’Italia concert yesterday went well and now it’s on to other interesting events. One that MUUFers might want to attend is a free-admission dance theater presentation in Montclair on October 16, 17, and 18. I plan to go to the Sunday matinee on the 18th and would love to have some Fellowship friends come along. Barbara writes:
CASSANDRA: AN ONGOING TRAGEDY depicts the eternal existence of hate and the ongoing impact of the evils brought forth from Pandora’s Box. Rich with emotional and social relevance, Cassandra: An Ongoing Tragedy by award-winning playwright Ruth Cantrell, jumps from ancient to modern times -- from ancient Greece to the world of recent years. Through the voice of Cassandra, the doomed seeress of Troy, whose curse was to see the future, but not be believed, we see how humanity cannot refrain from repeating the evils brought about by hate.
Though admission is free, reservations are recommended. This link provides further information about the production and a reservations portal.
