Transylvania Tidbit: Blessing of Wheat (Búzakalász Megáldás)

On the same Sunday that MUUF was having our Animal Blessing, our Partner Church in Sinfalva, Romania (Transylvania) was having their annual Blessing of the Wheat ceremony.
I was notified of this event by Csongor Pálfi, the elder son of the retired minister of Sinfalva, Rev. Dénes Pálfi.
The photo above shows a sheaf or bundle of wheat tied with a red-green-white ribbon, which are the colors of the Hungarian flag. (The Romanian flag is Red, Blue, Yellow)
