For the first half of the year, Kindergarteners and 1st graders will explore a Woven Faith, our congregation wide curriculum.
This class provides our young participants with a nurturing environment to explore Unitarian Universalist core values through engaging, monthly themes. To create a safe and predictable space, each session is built around a consistent, grounding routine that helps children connect with their faith, their bodies, and each other. Children will explore these themes through collaborative projects, immersive storytelling, and hands-on activities.
Every class begins with guided opening words and movements that weave together a year-long affirmation of our shared UU identity with the specific theme of the month. This recurring structure gives children meaningful, accessible language to understand who we are and what we value.
For the second half of the year Kindergarteners and 1st graders can sign up for Our Whole Lives. An affirming, comprehensive, and age-appropriate foundation for your child’s growth. The OWL program partners directly with parents and caregivers to help children build healthy self-esteem, celebrate human diversity, and develop positive attitudes about identity, relationships, safety, and health.
Registration for OWL will open later in the fall.
